Sam Biggerstaff is a Director at ABC Partnership Ltd / ABC Chambers Solutions, where he leads senior recruitment, client management and business development for the Bar and Barristers Chambers.
Working closely with Heads of Chambers, Senior Clerks, Practice Directors and Management Committees, Sam advises on strategic recruitment at silk and junior level, team moves, Practice Management and Clerking roles, succession planning and long-term growth.
With more than 25 years’ experience in the legal profession, Sam brings deep market knowledge and a commercially focused perspective to every instruction. He supports chambers on market positioning, expansion strategies, practice development and strengthening key client relationships.
Having previously worked as a barristers’ clerk at a Magic Circle commercial set, Sam offers a pragmatic, operationally informed approach. He understands the internal dynamics of chambers, the importance of clerking strategy and the balance between individual practice development and collective growth.
Sam is known for his discretion, strategic judgement and ability to manage senior-level moves with care and confidence, helping chambers secure and retain exceptional talent while protecting long-term stability and reputation.
