Neuro-Inclusive Chambers: Building Understanding & Confidence Event

Tuesday 3 February 2026
Deka Chambers, 5 Norwich Street, London, EC4A 1DR
5.45pm – 8.00pm

Join ABC Partnership for an engaging and practical evening exploring how Chambers can better understand, support, and empower neurodivergent barristers, clerks, and pupils.

Led by Nat Hawley, founder of Divergent Thinking, this session will provide a clear, accessible introduction to neurodiversity in the context of chambers life. It will address common myths and misconceptions, highlight practical and low-cost adjustments, and explore how inclusive practices can strengthen wellbeing, collaboration, and client service across chambers. Sign up here to secure your place.

Nat will then host a fireside chat bringing together perspectives from across chambers, drawing on the lived experience of chambers professionals, pupils and barristers Alice de Coverley and Sophie Stevens. Drawing on their different roles and lived experience, the panel will explore what neuro-inclusion looks like in practice, the challenges and opportunities they see within chambers, and the practical, achievable steps that can make a real difference day-to-day.

The evening will also include a preview of ABC Partnership’s new Neuro-Inclusive Chambers training module, authored by Nat Hawley, alongside real-world examples of good practice from across the legal sector.
