About the Role:
5RB are seeking a bright and motivated Junior Assistant to join their highly regarded clerking team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career to gain first-hand experience. They will work closely with experienced clerks and support barristers practising at the forefront of media and communications law, gaining valuable insight into the operation of Chambers and the work involved in high-profile legal matters.
The Junior Assistant plays an important role in supporting the efficient day-to-day running of the clerks’ room and Chambers. Working closely with the Senior Clerk, Deputy Senior Clerk, Practice Managers and clerking team, you will assist with a range of clerking and administrative tasks that help ensure Chambers runs smoothly.
This is a varied role that offers exposure to the legal profession and opportunities to develop organisational, communication and professional skills within a supportive team environment.

Candidates must be enthusiastic, reliable and keen to begin their career in a professional legal environment.
Candidates will ideally have GCSEs (or equivalent) including Mathematics and English at grades A–C / 5–9.
